There will be four of us making jelly roll quilts tomorrow for jelly roll day. We'll be having a virtual party and sewing in our own homes, posting progress throughout the day. We've picked out our patterns and our jelly rolls and are ready to have some fun. Thanks for sponsoring this again.

I was so looking forward to Jelly Roll Day! But unfortunately I fell 2 weeks ago and fractured my right femur (yes the one I use to run the sewing machine with!) and I am non-weight bearing for 2 months. And I was right in the middle of sewing blocks for a quilt. They will be there when I get home and will get finished. Can't wait to see all the beautiful creations shared. Makes the hospital stay go much faster! Enjoy your sewing day everyone!!

I've picked my pattern and jelly roll for tomorrow but I'm so disappointed that there's only one shop in germany participating in your event and it's about 500 km away. Any chance you release the patterns sometimes later for all?

I actually cut a jelly roll quilt out! It's an old one from Denyse Schmidt but using a current pattern from April Rosenthal. I'm excited to sew it when all the holiday sewing is done!. I, too, live far far from a participating shop but I have this guilty immense stash. I'm working in reducing said stash before I die.
